French Forms in Plain English   The FrenchForms.com service came about from our own experience in moving to France. Each country has its necessary bureaucracy and France has its fair share. There are hundreds of forms, from the common or garden variety like tax, registrations and permits to the downright obscure. Many people we have talked to struggle to understand these forms, notwithstanding that they are in French. Whilst one could always use a dictionary, approach a translation service, or even the Mairie for help we thought there could be an easier, more convenient way of dealing with them from the comfort of your home. Hence the FrenchForms.com service was born to provide help to English speaking people, either resident in France or with interests there, to understand forms that are only available in French and which need to be completed for a variety of reasons, either to comply with legislation or to request approvals, permits or other applications. Guy Doms, the founder of FrenchForms.com, is a trained tax accountant and business consultant and has worked in information technology for over 16 years in various roles around the world. His analytical skills and blend of experience provide a good basis for the creation of this service. He is based in the ancient town of Agde, in the Hérault department, within Languedoc-Roussillon in the South of France.
